My brain hurts!!! lol I'm making a table runner out of EPP hexies, and it's for MIL's Christmas gift. So here's the problem.... Where do I stop? lol Her table is 52" long, but how long and wide should I let this bugger grow?

Here's a mock-up of what I did last night, just playing around, and it came out to about 10.5" wide by 34" long. I'd like for it to stay on her table and be decorative, but also be big enough to be useful during Christmas meals (as I'm adding insul-bright). I should also add that her table is 52" square when she puts the leaf in (but turns into a rectangle when she takes the leaf out, which is 95% of the time).

I also know the last "flower" on the right is the wrong colour and I'm missing a hexie, but it was all I had, alright? lol I'm also not completely sold on that arrangement, but it will stay a rectangle regardless. As I've said, I'm using the "My True Love Gave To Me" jelly roll, and this is just about 75% of the holly prints. I'll be mixing in more of the prints from the line as I go along.
