I never know how much to buy in yardage to cut the number of squares I need to make the number of blocks I need. This might not be gospel depending on the pattern, but it is a good start to cut down on buying "extra, just in case" fabric! I know that extra can later be used as scraps etc....and I ten to buy 2 yards no matter what as I get it half price...but still....this is great, I can't wait to try it and since I am working toward the goal of selling my quilts....it will be nice to know how much I need so I can figure price for the quilt. If you use it, let us know how it worked out for you....never TMI with quilting!!!!
