Enjoy your Elizabeth! I have her baby sister, Anna. She's a lightweight travel machine and I completely love her. She purrs like a happy kitten. I'm sure you and Elizabeth will love getting to know each other!

I have a Babylock Lyric. Love love love! Sometimes I get to sew for a couple of hours, sometimes it's only 15 minutes, but I love my new machine! I had a 2 hour one on one lesson with my Babylock dealer after I had her for about a week. My instructor told me that it would take about 300 hrs to become really proficient. That's why I started quilting. I decided to make something I love with all those hours. I believe Elizabeth and Lyric are similar? Not sure. It's been a few months since I went through the process. I take a break from quilting every now and again to do my mending etc. My husband thought I bought new clothes for him because every few days, I mended something out of my sewing tote for him that he had long forgotten lol.

Clever girl....getting mending done and him thinking you shopped !!! LOL

So glad you are enjoying your machine. I have no idea about the difference, but as long as you love her, who cares?

U just had a quick look at the Babylock site. Elizabeth and Lyric are close sisters! Woot! Check out the decorative stitch #34 in the first set of decorative stitches. It's awesome for a quilt label border!
