Hey UK! You jump back over the pond to home yet? Hope you are having fun in US. They have really great prices on their cottons. I just got back from the there. I was in heaven! I got a bunch of kits to do over the winter. I am going to try my hand at wool applique.
Hope you are having a good time and glad to see someone else hasn't started their blocks yet. lol

GREAT!! i will add you to the group. YAY!! start at the beginning and read thru the forum thread.

you will be making 18 sets of 2 colorway blocks for a total of 36 blocks. (sounds like a lot when you first start but after the 3rd or 4th star they go pretty fast.) if you want to make your stars from just 2 fabric choices that is fine - you will need approx 3.5 yards of each. if you want to mix it up and use several different fabrics that is fine too - just be sure you are making sets of blocks (one white focus fabric star and one christmas holiday fabric star). Look at the bed quilt i made and you will get the idea.....

I am SO GLAD to have you joining us! be sure to ask questions - we all love to help! and chat! Where and when are you coming to US? will you be able to make them while you are visitng? the mailing date is Nov 1st and if you make them while here - will be alot less in postage costs
