Hey Sandy, there are a lot of Wilsons in the area. One of my best friends growing up is a Wilson. Hamilton, Ontario has about 600,000 people, so there are pages and pages of Wilson in the phonebook, some of which I'm sure are your relatives! That's neat about your grandmother - small world!
Just noticed that you are from Hamilton, Ontario - that's where my grandmother was born and raised. She was a Wilson, but the original family (from the lowlands of Scotland) were Joiners.
Happy Birthday! Have a great day!

Hi Sharon, welcome, it's great to have you. What a coincidence that you're from Hamilton as well. Thanks for watching our tutorials and I'm glad that you took on your first quilt top. You'll have to post plenty of pictures for all to see!
Hello there, I am brand new to quilting and found the tutorials on this site which caught my interest. I saw your post on how to make use of the site and saw that you are also from Hamilton ontario and thought that I would send you a hello and see if you would like to add me to your friends list. I made my first quilt top yesterday from the disappearing nine patch tutorial and it was so much fun! It is not perfect, but I really enjoyed watching how it went together and learned from my mistakes. I hope that things are going well with you and that you are enjoying the wonderful weather we have been having as of late. Bye for now, Sharon
