Hi, the original post for the fabric ornaments was posted by Hulamoon, she gave a link to the tutorial by Katrina's tutorials. 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
C.J., I made the round potholders from this website ..and Sew On: How to make my Pot Holders and I thought they were too big and bulky. So I took the binding off and laid my hand on the potholder and drew what I thought would be a good size. Oblong seemed to work better than a circle. I think I hand-basted or pinned it to see if it was going to work. Then cut it, stitched it and put on the binding again. Sorry that I don't have better directions, but it was just a "figure it out as I went" situation. 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
You have been pretty quiet lately. Sure hope you are doing well. Hugs!! 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
Hi, Sorry for the delay to your question on my board. I've been overseas and neglected this forum because of busyness and slow internet. This is the BLOCK SWAP I joined. It is the BLACK & WHITE BLOCK SWAP @ http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/groups/black-white-fan-block-swap.html Hope that helps. Holler if you need more help. I absolutely loved this swap, the results, and taking the idea and making my own quilts from the fabrics I chose for the swap. I ended up with 3 quilts - 1 for my daughter, 1 for my SIL, and the BLOCK SWAP finished item. You can see other photos of the ones for family in my album. Have fun. Hi, C J ! Wanted to thank you for your sweet remarks on my project. It was a self binding tutorial that Jenny did. I found the adorable flannel, froggy material at Jo Ann's Store. 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post

Hi...Sorry it took so long to respond. You asked what pattern I used for my handbag. I used Butterwick pattern number B5497. I added the side pockets for easy access to my glasses. Hope this helps! 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
Hi again,C J ! I made up the seek & find pattern. Just sew together 15 nine patches of animal photos. Whatever that block size is, cut 15 more blank blocks & machine embroider the animal names on those. Sew 5 blocks across & 6 down with name blocks in between photo blocks. Add a border & bind. Easy peasy! 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
Hi, CJ ... Thanks for visiting my albums. About the "seek & find" quilt....I felt the same way. While a baby, they can learn to search and recognize the animals. As a toddler they can learn the spelling of the animals names. I see it as a win - win ! 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
Hi! I'm such a ding-dong, replied to your question regarding my baby quilt, but posted on my own name. Ha! Anyway, I buy batting from a local "outlet" in town. It has a loft of 1/2 " high so it makes the quilting a little difficult, especially if it's a larger size. It does pouf well though and looks great. I wanted to try the Warm and Natural because it was thinner. I also heard the W&N is very warm. cellomom 1 Thanks shorte85 thanked for this post
