Started learning to quilt at 16, but didn't pick it back up until I was 29 and thought I should really finish that first quilt before I turned 30! I was taught by my grandmother "Sassy" (that was her nickname). The second try drew me in for good and I haven't stopped quilting since. I was fortunate to spend the last four years of my grandmothers life learning all her skills. Since her passing, one year ago, me and my cousin have started a quilting guild in her honor "The Sassy Quilter's Guild; Wedding Ring Chapter". We have six members so far and are having a blast!
