Thank you for the nice comment!
Hi Trish, I don't know if I am doing this correctly for being "on-line" with this site, but I am going to try. I read a post that you made about having a sewing room built for you in the basement but it hadn't been done at that time. I was wondering if it was done now as I, also, am having my dh build me a sewing room in the basement. It will be the only room finished down there unless I can talk him into finishing the bathroom. Anyway, I am trying to get ideas for the room before he starts to construct. I have some, but would love to see others. Piece and blessings, Vicki
Happy Birthday form the heart Cause that's where all great wishes start
Hi! Should have posted the message here. Check out the Big rickrack and patriotic thread in quilting questions for info re: dancing stars.
Please post some pics of all the cool things in your gardens! I would so love to see them.
Trish, I'm praying for Katie and I'll pray for your husband not to get Mono. So sorry to hear they are sick. I'll also pray for you, so you will have energy to cope. Love, Hugs, and Prayers, Jan
Just 1 more 'message'. So sorry to hear your sister is having her way and you will miss your mom's services. That's just not right. Are you going to miss it because it's too far away? Still, not right. Guess I better get moving here. getting hungry and don't like to eat in front of Katie when the poor girl can't swallow anything herself right now. Hugs!! Trish
Hi Vicki!!! 90 stores - wow, 65 would have worn me out for the next few weeks. I hope you were able to pick up some real bargins in your travels. What a wonderful DH that he took you to all those places. My crayon quilt - it's just a challenge that you pull 3 crayons out of a box and you need to use at least 2 of the 3 colors and has to be min. of 40x40". Thought I did pretty good on it. Now that that's out of the way, and the baby quilt out of the way, and Odie's pillowcase done (just need to mail it), the next project is my block of the month applique. It will probably take me forever! Going to make this short today cause I have another load of clothes I have to bring in and eat dinner yet. Katie was diagnosed with mono last night so that is keeping me busy. Glad she is here though and not 1300 miles away like she was earlier this year.
Part 5: I can't believe this Trish, Here goes: About my mom's things. They are still in the garage all covered up. I am trying to get up the nerve to bring them in. The bookcase needs repairing on one bottom door. My sister was good enough to take the good one and leave me with the broken one. Not only that, she also took the "Quilt Cut 2" which my mom gave to me when we were down there in October but we didn't have room in the car at the time. I figured that alone would pay for 2 tanks of gas on the truck we had to rent. She is so selfish and self-centered. The baby in the family and everyone treats her as so but me. Even the services for my mom, which were supposed to be in Sept. (for her convenience, of course) has been moved up to July!! Also, for her. We can't make July so I am going to miss that. We planned on Sept as the services will be held in Seattle to be with my dad's ashes. Oh well. Life goes on. Piece and blessings, Vicki
Part 4: Here we go again, Trish, I hate that we can't type unlimited on this thing. Guess they only want notes! Well, this is the almost the last session. I'm getting good at cutting and pasting, for sure!! LOL Piece and blessings, Vicki Onto Pt. 5
