Happy Birthday . . . .. early. . . because I'll forget by tomorrow. LOL!
I just wanted to tell you I thought it was so nice of you to be concerned for your lady friend and the Etsy accounts. I wish more people looked out for each other and this country would be a lot better off. I think of the great depression and all I studied and feel like more people should help even family members instead of so many having to go on welfare and the system, etc. It is so sad to see in this day and age. Thank you again for trying to do your little piece of helping a person out. Piece and blessings, Vicki
Hello! I've just noticed that today is your special day. Happy birthday to you!
Thanks so much Karen! I'm glad you liked my quilt! I had lots of fun working on it and learned a lot too. There are so many quilt projects I want to try if I could just find the time to do them all! Hope you are having fun with your quilting too!
Just online for the first time in days. I can't find the list but I think I saw online that you are traveling tomorrow (Wednesday). If I find it, I'll wing it to you quick but I can't find the darn thing. Sorry.
Hi Karen- I see you are a fellow PA Quilter..... I live near Hershey..... I am teaching myself how to quilt along with this forum and Jenny's tuts..... Well, I've only been quilting for a year now, other than a couple pillows where I used a nine patch and embroidered (with a machine) on one square. That hardly counts. I am just completing my first hand quilted bed size quilt. It's great. I've made several throw size quilts. I do have to get some more photos taken of my completed things. I've been to a few quilt shops but I have a whole list that another lady compiled but have never managed to get anywhere. I really like the quilt museum up in Intercourse. Amazing work. I get "most" of my precuts from MSQ but amend them with lengths from Joann's and Good's. Good's is our locally run Mennonite store. They have a nice selection and are actually cheaper on some of the fabrics than online. I'm laid off until the second week in February so I look forward to getting a lot of sewing done. . . .. . Then back to work at the plant farm. . . Gotta run, Linda
Hi. I was reading the forums and came across your name and that you live in PA. I was just wondering whereabouts. I'm in Lancaster County, PA.
Thank you, yes my quilting buddy seems to be everywhere I need to be, appears to be a common thing with cats and quilting, but I love him to bits.
