Thank you, Newbiequilter, for your note. I really like the way the "bear tracks" describe the wild I see in Bear fabric as they wander the forest. It is a fun block to make and I am enjoying making the blocks. Glad you're part of the group, too. Enjoy learning as you piece your blocks! BTW, your panda bear block is adorable! Debi

Hi Pat, I posted a pic of my Quilts for Kids quilt in my Finished Projects album. They sent me blue, orange and brown fabric and a nice, easy 4 patch pattern. Not colors I would have chosen, but cute. I'm hoping I can get my employer to sponsor a couple of QFK quilts, covering my costs, so I can pick out my own colors and fabrics. I work for a bank that does a lot of small charity donations so I'm hopeful they can help fund my addiction, lol. Would love to see a pic of your wild animal blocks, do you have a pic online yet?

  8. Good morning Deb, yes, finished the runner but no pictures yet. I opened a kit I bought to make a sudoku kit and matched up the squares but that is all. And I've started the squares for the current swap, my first. What does your quilt look like?

    Hi Pat,

How are you? Are you sewing anything right now? Did you finish your table runner? I'm working on a Quilt for Kids quilt; I like the idea of doing the quilt, but hate having a deadline, even a long one (4 to 6 weeks). I've had the kit two weeks and will finish it this weekend, could have done it in a long weekend if I'd had the time.
