Me too! I love looking at the back of quilts. There's usually nothing to distract from the quilting design.
I will post for sure. It is a ways off as I am working on a d9p right now and then have 2 others to make before I can start on anything that is just what I want. LOL
Thanks for the comment in my album. When you make the Dresden Flower Garden, be sure to post pics.
Thanks for the info. I went to Amazon and they have the book shipped prime in the used for less than $5. It is in like new condition so that went in my cart. I have a few quilts to do for my kids and grand kids but then I am going to make a stab at some of these oh so pretty, more detailed quilts. Yours turned out simply beautiful.
Hi Sandy! Thank you so much for your kind comment on the quilt I made. It's called Dresden Flower Garden. I got the pattern from the book Dresden Flower Garden by Blanche Young and Lynette Young Bingham. The book has 3 ways to lay out the hexagon blocks. The quilt was pretty labor intensive, but I tend to like doing those kinds of quilts. I cut out over a 800 pieces and it is only a twin size! Anyway, if you get the book and make the quilt, I'd love to see it. Hugs.
