Thanks, Lenie, for the compliments on my quilts. Those are two of my favorites. The blue toned one was a nightmare for me and I hated looking at it at first, but now that I've gotten over the frustration of it I like it a lot.
Hier dan eindelijk de site gevonden die ik gebruik als ik handgeschreven labels gebruik. Morgen gaat je envelop op de bus!! ps i quilt: label tutorial. {the rachel way.} Succes ermee!
Thank you for the lovely comments on my quilt curio cabinet. The quilts inside are a heart quilt I made (picture in my album) the other quilt is one I found at my Mothers when I was cleaning it out after her death. I have no idea who made it as I don't know of anyone in our family that quilted. I wish I had known she had it so I could have found out about it. It is old and it is a wedding ring design. I will have to take a picture of it and put it in my album. Thanks for the idea.
Hi Lenie, No, it's the second grand child. The first one Laura was adopted by our son when she was 4 years old. She's going to be 12 yrs. in August. So we really missed those baby years. This time it'll will be a little boy and they are going to call him Charel, like my dad. tried to incorporate 2 pictures but it didn't work. Maybe I'll post one or the other in the General Chit-Chat Well you also have a nice summer and many greetings from Luxembourg Michèle
Thanks for telling me. I thought of buying the apple core template, but I guess I rather do the quilt with half hexies or something similar. But I really like your blue quilt. It looks gorgeous. I also have so many men's shirts, I have to make something blue. But first I do baby quilts and baby clothes , as our youngest daughter is expecting her first baby in October. I also have a problem with the weather, as soon as it is not raining I'm outside in the garden or what DH and I took up again, we go to the fitness center (with pool and sauna). There you cannot sew either. We do that 2x a week. Those days are gone already. I'm not complaining. But I rather sew in automn or winter. So each season has good and bad times. Right now we have gorgeous weather for a couple of days. Lets enjoy them Michèle But that is good for our health too. 1 Thanks Lenie thanked for this post
Good morning. Just popping in and checking your album. You have so many beautiful quilts. I love the one with the dogs on it and the Home Sweet Home one too. Of course I really love them all. Hope you are having a great weekend.
I love your quilts! Your tumbler quilt is so inviting. I'm going to try one with a wide border. It looks great and the design on the last quilt is interesting. Good job!
