Hi Night Owlies....I'm ready to head back to bed. I got up and did some sewing and must have pricked a finger and got blood on one strip of my quilt...
Newbie quilter here. I learned the basics in sewing as a teen. Last November my Mother in Law taught me a little more. Then I started watching Jenny on Youtube and made my first quilt. I called it an Americana wall hanging. But now I guess you could call it a Quilt Of Valor. Next I made a perfectly square quilt using a pinwheel hat I saw Jenny make. Using an idea from a magazine I placed them on point. Since it was so square it doesn't make for a great lap blanket. So it is now also a wall hanging. I have made a baby blanket using the 3 dudes method. I have made several quilted throw pillow covers. And a single bed sized quilted chocolate themed blanket. Just recently I used Jenny's tote bag tutorial to make my own twist on a bag. I posted it on Facebook and my friends love it. So now I am making those for friends.
