About JaneMarie
- Biography:
- Everyone in my guild refers to me as the "straight line" quilter. I love taking classes and trying new things but don't have a great track record of finishing these projects. Some day I will do applique and sew curves.
A few years ago I took the quilt judging program offered in Canada. I don't come from an art background and this course really challenged me to learn about design and techniques and the history of quilting. I am a much more confident quilter because of this course.
I have a design wall and a ruler wall and I am a huge fan of the rolling drawers that scrap book quilters use. The containers hold just enough fabric to make a quilt (except the backing and borders) and it is a great way to keep squares flat while the top is in progress.
