Happy birthday Ginger....have a great day!
The twister template does leave a lot of waste, but from the 4 inch twister waste you can make the mini twister it's about a 1 1/4 template. I'm assuming from the layer cake size template the waste material would be enough for the 4 inch blocks.
Thanks BellasQuitls for letting me know. I don't think I will be making any more of the blocks for Heaven. I talked to Angela today and they are waiting to see if they are going back to the hospital tomorrow for Heavens treatments again. Soon with the grace of God she will be over these and healed.
Your gorgeous blocks arrived today safely! Thank you for being a part of this!

Ginger, I'm laughing about your comments on Heaven's blocks in the group. That's exactly what I did - not once, not twice, not thrice - but FIVE whopping big times. Finally got them right and now I LOVE that block.
Hi Ginger, Glad that you were able to speak with Angela this afternoon; thanks for looking at the quilt I carried over. They are a very special family as you well know! Blondie
Thank you for the compliments on my wall-hangings. I really enjoy making them. I got the idea for the deer while researching through the internet for deer pictures.
the Polka Dot Party block swap is super quick and easy and will be fabulous when completed! .... hope you will decide to play! hugs, suzi
Hi there, yes that quilt is puffy! Though not a true puff/biscuit quilt, I made it then sort of faux puffed it out by tying the squares. Thanks for the comment!
