About CraftieCindyLou
Biography:
I have been sewing since a little girl, my grandmother taught me how to make my first quilt when I was in 8th grade. She gave me an old cereal box had me cut out a square then gave me a bag of her scraps and had me cut out over 200 enough to make a twin size quilt. She gave me an old sheet and told me to use it for the quilt back and then I tied each block's corner and center with left over yarn. My grandmother was a big influence with me learning how to sew and quilt. I am the only one of her granddaughters that has kept up with the tradition. I hope to someday I can pass down the tradition. To think it was over 40 yrs ago I've learned how to sew and still I'm keeping the machine a humming.
