I have been quilting for one year. I started because I had an elderly neighbor who made quilts (hand piecing/quilting). I kept asking here when she would make one for me. She finally laughed and said as soon as I pieced a top she would quilt it. Unfortunately I waited too long and she moved to assisted living and is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. I am working on a queen sized for a friend. I have a couple of baby quilts to work on. I am also working on a mystery block of the month. I have three of the 12 blocks done and have the fourth one to start. I have a number of projects I have on my list of to do's. I want to get a memory quilt done for 8 of my neighbors, we call ourselves the Nit-Wits. Thanks for your note.
Bob, how long have you been quilting - I think it is a great thing that you quilt, wish more men did - I can get my husband to walk through a fabric store occasionally but he is always questioning why I touch all of the fabric ha ha. I left a reply on the machine naming post about my grandsons and sewing - thanks for posting - have a good day. Is there anything specific you are currently working on. I am doing the mystery quilt, have a baby quilt for a secretary in our medical group, another "owl" quilt for my middle daughter's best friend and have a few in the back of my brain, just need more time.
