Thanks for getting back with me!! I am going to check out the link and definitely remember to put your input in on the pattern. Thanks again!!
Looks like I commented once before on that gorgeous quilt! I guess I probably will again next time I see it on the random pictures! It's amazing..
Bec, that is great! Does it look like it would be hard to make?
Bec...thank you for the comments about my mother's quilts. She loved making them and giving them to family and friends. I think she may have sold 1 of her many quilts, the rest were gifts. I hope you can find the patterns that you like. Mom was really good at looking at pictures of quilts in magazines and figuring out how to make it. The Eagle quilt that she made for me I found in a magazine and said how much I loved it...she made it for me. I have some of that talent of looking at a quilt and figuring it out. I wish she were still here to share my love for quilting now...but I know she is watching me and I have a picture of her in front of my sewing area and I talk to her. Crazy I know!
Sewing the binding is one of my favourite parts. Maybe it's because I can see that I'm nearly finished. It's not so much my hands that get sore but my finger from pushing the needle. It has been known for me to pierce my skin! A small price to pay
Thanks bec! It is a stunning quilt - I can only hope to be half that good some day. You are a great inspiration to us newbies! Lisa
I meant every word. I've never seen anything like it and absolutely love everything about it. You are very, very talented and I hope you enter that quilt in a show or the fair somewhere. It's definitely a winner.
I received the book today and I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me!
It will be well used - can hardly wait to try the split blade style!
Thank You again, if there is ever any thing I can do for you please let me know. ~Kathy~
I didn't really have a pattern, followed the instructions on this link, kind of, just did my heads the way I wanted.
It's all half square triangles.
