Thanks for the comment on the book picture. I'm glad you laughed as hard as we did when we found that book!!! I help with a huge book sale (fundraiser for local charities) in our area. We found that book in a box we were sorting last spring. The lady in charge of the sale pulled it out of the box, showed it to me and we were both doubled over laughing. It was worth the hard work for a good laugh like that! Hope you have a good day! Pam
Let me tell ya, the Eleanor Burns F/G ruler!!! You can't go wrong and I just love it!
New swap is posted! Bright Spring Floral Jacobs Ladder .... join now! capped at 25 players
Thanks for the comment on my Penguin quilt - I sure wish the picture was better. I've learned a lot (about taking pictures) since that was posted. I need to have the granddaughters get their quilts so I can get some better pictures of them. This one was especially fun to do. The next in line, however, is twisting my drawers tight - she wants a LONE STAR quilt - and I hate doing triangles and matching points . . .
Thank you so much! I love to make quilts that POP and that will keep children awake at night. I love color and lots of it.
Believe me, those cleaning fairies don't come very often to my sewing room
Regarding pot holders... I think I put one layer of warm and natural in the pocket flaps of the heart pot holders and the pumpkin-print pot pinchers.
I used two layers of warm and natural cotton batting and one layer of insulbrite. The insulbrite is made for pot holders and it reflects the heat. Mine didn't call for interfacing.
the Polka Dot Party block swap is super quick and easy and will be fabulous when completed! .... hope you will decide to play! hugs, suzi
Great idea to use a coloring book picture for a pattern. I need to remember that! It's good you didn't give up on it. Your efforts really paid off. Enjoy the day, Beadywoman!
