    Hi Granny Judy, I just discovered your message. I am from Effingham. I have been to Peoria a few times for my kids' athletic events. I haven't been much further than the Eastside center. I have just started my second quilt. I got two charm packs on clearance yesterday at Joann's so I came home and looked for some ideas. Hopefully it will turn out ok. I can see where quilting can get to be an expensive hobby!!!

    Here's a little information about me: I work as a secretary at St. Anthony Church in Effingham, my husband and I own 3 car washes, and I have 3 kids. Our oldest is 25 and is a math teacher at Effingham High School, our middle child is 22 and works in downtown St. Louis, and our youngest just started his freshman year at Eastern Illinois University. I'm liking this "empty nest"!!!
