Thanks Cynthia, granddaughter is awesome. She is special alright!!
Thank you for the beautiful pin cushion. It arrived today. I love it and will treasure it always.
Thanks again for the link for my "boy-fabric" I made that quilt top and it was as you said perfect for the big pattern in the fabric!
I'll post pictures when it's done.
I had enough left over to make another top after the pattern Jean and Auntimern gave me.
You all are such a great group of friends, thanks for helping me out! I will save that site, that's for sure
Have a great sunday!
I'm confused! I just received back a letter I sent to Cynthia (GrammaBabs.) It came from your address. Are you sending me condolences regarding my mother's death in December? If so, thank so much for thinking of me.
we are actually in Middleboro, MA... near Plymouth,,, it's about an hour from the Cape... and YES there are wonderful quilt shops there... i think one of them is Heartbeat and the other is Tumbleweeds??? not sure... i know there is one in Dennis and that's a great place to visit... Hyannis is nice... Falmouth, and i promise you they all have quilt shops i'm sure...
The best place ever is called SewFisticates... it's in Dorchester,,, not on ther Cape, but worth the jaunt, if you go there... about an hour or so north from the cape... they have cottons and all sorts of other sparkly and Home Dec stuff... their cotton is 2.99 and 3.99.... yd.... and lots to choose from...
We live here at oakpointhomes.com..... it's a retirement comm... and i'ts heaven.... don't mow, or plow, rubbish picked up plus all the stuff you can see on the web...
oh, and i've heard that Falmouth has a place called "The irish village" i think that has wonderful deals for stays... hugs B
Cynthia, got your blocks today in the mail! Thank you so much, they are wonderful!
hope you are having a great weekend. I took a couple days off from sewing. Did some laundry and today I relaxed a bit.. Hubby went out of town so I got a break. But he will be home late tonight so I will have to be more productive tomorrow. LOL
the Polka Dot Party block swap is super quick and easy and will be fabulous when completed! .... hope you will decide to play! hugs, suzi
Hi, Yes my avatar is my pooch. He is a pug and his name is Gator. But normally I call him Baby Dog (even though he is 10 years old.) He also has the nicknames: ButtNugget, Hemorrhoid, all affectionately meant of course.
Working on a crazy quilt for the bed. just needed a bit of a break.
Have a great day.
Hi, thanks for the welcome. Lake of the Ozarks is about 1 1/2 hours or so north of Us. It is a nice area.
