Thanks for your comment on my diagram of the Jacob's Ladder. I made a quilt like that for my mom but it was in pinks, lavendar and white. I will probably make another one with that pattern someday.

The quilting in my album that you asked about is not hand-quilted. It was fmq-ed. I almost aways draw the design that I want and then fmq.

I been looking at pics of the work on this site and OMG how AWESOME !!! There is one I really love and I cant find it again but the corner of this quilt was not simply square its had like peaks I wish I had half the talent yall do because I would love to create a masterpiece too. We have to get together so you can tech me!! Alone I wouldn't know where to begin

Do you use cotton or fleece or flannel or what types of fabrics work for it? Thanks for your help. I almost quit sewing but could not it has been close to my heats since I learned how 30 years ago. .
