    Default Moda Candy

Read earlier today that moda will be coming out with a new precut called moda candy which will be 2 1/2 inch squares. Said would be available this fall. I am interested to see how many will be in a package.

In the past they have called them mini charms and they contained the same numbers usually found in the charm packs.

I've been at my sister's house this week and was hoping that United Notions, home of Moda, had an outlet. Found out they did not., as a show of support for their retailers.

I will not be buying them. I try to make these small ones by sewing strips together and sub cutting. You can do this for most patterns. I avoid ones you can't.

Is this what you are talking about? These are 2-1/2" by 5" strips, 4 packs of 40 for $25.00. Couldnt you cut a charm pack in half and get the same thing?

Seems like it would be the same. I'm getting a little bit of a stash now - so I'm going to be making more of my own charms & jelly rolls.
