Definition of Border
I'm sorry, please don't be angry at me for mentioning this. Our English language has so many words in it that sound the same but are spelled differently. One that we quilters use a lot is the word BORDER.
BORDER--is defined as the perimeter around a given space. We apply borders to our quilts.
BOARDER--is defined as someone who pays money to stay in a space, as in paying room and board at college.
Just thought I'd mention it.
