Thanks, Jackie, I was hoping you would see this and pass it on. It sure did jazz up the little town of Cuba, Mo. The Chamber of Commerce got on board and moved a privately funded project forward to grow to the size it is today. Cuba does have the advantage of being on the original Route 66.

I think it would be awesome to have some quilty personality on the MSQC building. I know if I lived there, I would volunteer to paint it up.
Maybe you could add one of your "trees" to the decor! How's that project coming along?

Jackie, if you follow the link to the Cuba murals, one of their murals was done by an artist naned Kelly Poling from Chilicothe, maybe you could talk to him about what's involved in doing this.

Oddly enough, my boyfriends stepfather is related to Kelly Poling- Gary Poling is his name. I have seen the murals in Chillicothe many times, and they are amazing!! I will for sure get in contact with him about this!

Count me in to do a quilt block on the side of the building. Believe me, I paint much better than I sew! I'd be most happy to give up a day or two and man a paint brush. Let's see - a Missouri Star on one block . . .
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I asked Jenny if she could do a tutorial on making the Missouri Star. That is one complicated block! I'm sure she would love to have your talent to paint a block or two!
