    Question ANOTHER Newbie question -->>

    Okay . . . we all know everything has a "season" . . . well, almost everything - lol . . .

    Do fabric lines also have a "season" . . . if they do, when do the new lines usually come out?? In the Spring? In the Fall??

    This seems like such a basic question, but I'm really curious!

    Hugs,

    The fall/winter lines should be coming out soon. For retail purposes as in for those of us who sew and quilt and sell our creative items. We will need to begin getting ready for the next seasons shows..

    It seems to me that Fall and Christmas fabric lines come out around July, giving those of us who quilt and sew plenty of time to make our items in time for the appropriate season. I think a good rule of thumb would be to expect new lines about three months ahead of the season....Christmas/Fall in July, Spring in December, etc.

    The lady at my LQS told me the Kansas City market is this upoming weekend. Would they be choosing stuff for Christmas then? Makes sense to me.

    They usually do start as early as possible to get ready for the next "season" of shoppers.

    I was told years ago that quilting fabric lines (even non-seasonal lines) change every 8 or 9 months. They become harder to find after that time, then new lines are introduced.
