Jenny's scary moment
Read the blog right now! We almost lost our mentor Jenny and Ron in a very scary incident! God's hand was with them as they escaped a near death experience. I tripped over a rug and hit my head, but this one was a REAL near death experience! It is scary just to read wht they went through.

Re: Jenny's scary moment
I cried through the whole post. Pregnancy emotions are strong today.

Re: Jenny's scary moment
I am not even pregnant and I also cried through the entire post. This Family is like my own Family and they are the head of it! I feel closer to Jenny than I do some of my own family members and I have never met her! Praise the Lord for this family. Jenny and Ron it was not your time, you have so much more to do in this world and we are glad you are here with us today and always. Too many talents to share yet! Much love to you and your wonderful Family.. {{{HUGS}}} from a fan in Pa! Thank you for all you do.. <3

Re: Jenny's scary moment
Praise the Lord that they are both safe and sound. His timing was excellent and the details exact. WOW! What a scary thing to happen and how close they came to disaster......in numerous ways and times. So glad that all are well. Happy Mother's Day, Jenny. I imagine your kiddos and grands will be especially grateful for your presence this year!

Left a message to the family as they mean a lot to us.

Re: Jenny's scary moment
Thank the Lord that they both are all right! Jenny is like a Mom to me (she reminds me of my mother who passed many years ago) and I have never met her either...hoping to go to new shop once it is completed....Happy Mother's Day Jenny!

Re: Jenny's scary moment
I am so thankful that the blog post began with, "First let me say that we are OK/" Otherwise, would have been panicked. As I read the way the horrible experience unfolded, I knew God had his hands on Jenny and Ron. There was no other way things could have turned out as they did. Our Father in heaven is so good to us and sometimes it takes a positive outcome to a potentially deadly incident, for us to see His hand. Thank you Lord for keeping us safe this day.

Re: Jenny's scary moment
Pretty scary stuff. What a relief they are okay. PLEASE!!! Don't drive in this kind of weather unless there is absolutely no other choice. It's not worth taking a chance. I can guarantee Jenny and Ron will think twice about striking out in the car when there's another downpour. I got caught in a flood in Houston. Off to pick up my daughter from pre-school. Noticed alot of water on the road. By the time I got into the church parking lot the water was up to the door of the car. We were stranded in the church all afternoon. By the time my husband was able to get to us I was wading in water up to my chest to get to the rescue vehicle. I'm not happy that I was so clueless as to what was happening as I was driving to pick her up, however, I'm glad I was with my daughter throughout the ordeal. My experience was not life-threatening. Jenny and Ron could've lost their lives. That's a very sobering thought.

Re: Jenny's scary moment
What nasty experience for Jenny and Ron, and what a relief to know that they are ok apart from some soreness and bruises. Their guardian angel was surely watching over them.
-
Re: Jenny's scary moment
Wow, that is really scarey. Thanks for pointing out the blog again, Jean. I don't always go there - God bless the Doan's and their children. I always knew that Jenny had to be spunky.
-
Re: Jenny's scary moment
So glad they are okay - how unbelievably frightening!! I don't always go to the blog either. I am so happy their angels were watching over them. Every day is special with our loved ones, that's for sure.
Hugs,

Re: Jenny's scary moment
I am so glad they are okay. I would have really freaked out if I was Jenny, being swept away by the water. I can't swim and I am so afraid of water anyway.
Sometimes I wonder if semi driver's realize the problems they cause other drivers? There are so many that drive like maniacs and don't have a care for the other drivers. They cause many accidents and just drive off not realizing what they have done, or don't care. There a some that are considerate but they are in the minority. I have heard truckers talk about us "4-wheelers" and they are not kind.
God bless Jenny & Ron and keep them safe always.

Re: Jenny's scary moment
What a horrible experience. It goes without saying that everyone on our forum is so grateful the Doans are okay. It does really make you think about how quickly your life can change and to appreciate what we have every moment of the day. Thank you Lord for watching over our extended family! Al, what a beautiful tribute to your Mom and Dad on the blog....:)

I cried too! I truly believe that God held him in his hands and kept them alive. This really made me appreciate my children and family.
