Flowers from Prairie Points
A while back someone posted a link to instructions for a pot holder that was made with prairie points. I was sure I had thumb nailed it but I can't find it anywhere. I just spent the last hour going through old posts to see if I could find it with no luck. I even tried to Google and You Tube it but no luck either.
If you remember this could you please re-post the link for me? Appreciated very much....

Was it called a folded star ? There are many tutorials out there for making them. I've made them with folded squares and circles too.
this is similar to the the ones I made years ago:

Re: Flowers from Prairie Points
I 'm so glad to have this pattern, my mother made these hot pads, also hooped them in an embroidery hoop, put lace around them for wall hangings. They were stunning when made with Christmas fabrics. Back in the day ( the 90's), i made jumpers for my school teacher friends. I made one for myself with one of these stars applqued on the bodice. I was the "Miss Frizzle" of my school and speialized in science teaching. Reach For The Stars was my classroom motto. It seemed appropriate at the time! But I'm gla to have instructions on how to make these. Thanks for posting.
