Arrived Safely in Burbank - Photo of a very Pregnant Kat!

Up at 4 am yesterday, left the house at 5, arrived at Honolulu Airport at 6:15, long time at TSA Security, stop at Starbuck's for Cinnamon Dulce Latte, long haul to Gate 25, short wait for 20 minutes to board, 8:00 suppose to take off...doors close...shreaking alarms go off, they can't get them to sto. I feel a migraine coming on, babies start crying, maintenance crew come on, TG after about 8 minutes they get it to stop! 8:16 we're in the air! Yeah!

We made up time and land at LAX at 4:02 instead of 4:30 - get my bag - 4:50 SuperShuttle and sit in LA Rush Hour and arrive in Burbank (28 miles) for two grandsons running to me with hugs and kisses at 7:08 pm...nothing better, besides my hugs/kisses from my daughter and son-in-law.

Below is a photo of Kat and Matt as they were leaving for the weekly doctor's appointment. Kat hasn't let anyone really take photos this pregnancy 'cause she feels bigger this time. I think she looks just as cute as with the boys, so I talked her into letting me take a few under protest. :)

Zander is in school and Oliver is napping so I'll catch them later.

Beautiful! I'm 30 weeks with my second baby and I feel bigger this time too.... When you are this pregnant and I'm sure she will agree with this, you feel like an escaped zoo animal because everything you do leaves you out of breath and sweating!

Aw Ruby, sounds like you are having a ball already. I sure hope the baby comes while you are there. Is that awful of me? I too will have my grandchildren with me this weekend. Woohoo!!

You have a right to brag. Kat is a cute as can be and Matt (well, what can I say, I have a Matthew who lives in Italy) looks as happy as a dad can be. You are on top of the world and rightly so. How is it we can swell up so big - but she'll be back to normal soon. Thanks for sharing. Sorry you had to put up with noise and traffic jams. Al's going to be in LA next weekend for 10 days and he's dreading the traffic already.

Make sure the batteries in your camera are charged when Penny gets here . . . I want to be the second one to know (AFTER DON).

She looks wonderful. My own DD looked like she was having triplets with all 3 of hers. Have a wonderful time, and try, but not to hard, to not spoil them all rotten.

It is such a blessing to be able to spend time with our children and grandchildren...what a gift from God...you had a safe trip...enjoy this time with your family...your daughter looks wonderful...good luck with the new grandchild!

She looks Beautiful!!!!!! I got so big with my two that I couldn't drive. If I put the seat where it needed to be for my feet to reach the pedals I couldn't turn the steering wheel because my belly was in the way!LOL

Such a trip but worth in the end. Your daughter is absolutely radiant!!! Have a wonderful visit and enjoy the new little one.....

Ttucsok, Kat agrees being over heated all the time and super-sized, Del Taco style. lol The doctor's visit went well, Penelope is where she should be. Now it's just waiting for her to make her entrance to join us.

Oliver and I had a great time yesterday, was so great. Zander was picked up by his dad after school as one of his cousin has a BDay party today. We'll be picking him up at 6 tonight, saying hello to that side of the family as we've remained a good relationship with them. That will take a while (Peruvian/Equidorian) lol and I'm sure food will be involved. Don't drink so I'll have to pass on that one.

Then I'm sure Zander and I will be camping out again as he's feeling we must make up for lost time. :)
