Default PROGRESS IN MY SEWING ROOM

Yesterday I got rid of my daybed that has been in my last three sewing rooms. As you can see from the photo it held my works in progress, a doll or two. stacks of new fabrics and whatever.... I'm hoping DH and I will buy my new cabinets some time soon. They are going to require much assembly and will be a real pain in the rear for him, but this will be my Mother's Day gift. I may not actually have them ready to use for a while.

Wish me luck it's going to be a pretty long road!

Hugs, BarbPROGRESS IN MY SEWING ROOM-daybedgoing.jpg

Good luck with the sewing room makeover Barb! It will be worth all the hard work.

I'm pretty sure you won't have enough space for all the goodies you had on the day bed so feel free to send them my way

Love the quilt and the dresdens on the wall. Gorgeous!
May your sorrows be patched and your joys be quilted

You will be so pleased when you are finished. BTW I absolutely LOVE your Wedding Ring Quilt - it is a real beauty.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Thanks Sandy...I think I may post it on my blog tomorrow. BTW, all the quilts I post on my blog are also going into my albums here at M*. It's a wonderful way to keep a journal and update my albums here. Hugs, Barb

I have a daybed in my secondary sewing room, which is my Christmas guest room. I would have more room without it, but can work around it. Hope you enjoy having new space and new cabinets. By keeping my daybed, I have one more bed to make quilts for!

I hope you have another place for that beautiful double wedding ring quilt! It deserves to be shown off.

Cyndi, I was thinking the very same thing! Barb, hope you have a place for that beautiful quilt! Maybe as a wall hanging? You make such beautiful quilts, so much work goes into them, they deserved to be seen by your adoring public! Glad you are posting them for your quilt forum friends to see.

Oh, I see a Dresden Plate beauty already hanging on the wall, they'll have to compete for display space in the room!
