    Default Machine dilemma

So I went to a QS to look at their embroidery machines. They can sell me a floor model where the largest hoop size is 6x10. It only comes with 1 hoop, no accessories. But its $300 off their regular price. The deal is only in place until Wednesday.

Friday is the Quilt Show. This QS will not be at the quilt show but another dealer for the machine will. Do I pass on the floor model and hope the dealer at the show has a better price or at least other accessories?

To be honest, looking at the machine I don't think there are accessories except hoops.

The machine I'm looking at is the Brother NQ-1400E

I already own 2 Brother machines and love them.

I think I would take a chance and wait. If they still have the machine after the show, I bet they will give you the same or even better discount. There is probably a newer model coming out which is why they want to get rid of their floor model.

You could always ask the dealer if they are in a hurry to sell.If they are you might want to move quicker and if not take your time.

I just got this machine in June ..it's a new model so it won't be replaced soon. My price was very good from my dealer (who will be at the show in Fredericksburg)....pm me and I can put you in touch.

ask about software- supplies such as thread/ stabilizer etc. Alot of dealers here ( when the fair was going on) were throwing in a nice set of embroidery threads, stabilizer etc. Never hurts to ask.

When I spoke with the dealer it was said that there were no extras thrown in since it was a floor model, hence the discount, and it had only been only floor about 2 weeks.

I think I'm going to wait for the quilt show. I figure if they don't have any deals then I'll just hold off. I'm such a goof when it comes to decisions.
