The manuals are available for download free -- don't remember where -- but it was easy to find.

That's a nice-looking cabinet! Mine is trashed -- shabby chic paint, in brown. Not a good choice!
That being said it reads: AG891945

This website is helpful too -- there's more than one variety of 15. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a 15-90, but if you read this post you can probably figure it out. Oh, and it's a sister of mine -- AG901091, same batch of serial numbers! How cool is that! Mine is a 15-91.

And I just read that blog post again, & I don't see a side mounted motor in your picture -- so now I'm placing my bet that yours is a 15-91, like mine!

There is a list of manuals at ISMACS (International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society).
The first link will take you to all of the Singers - if you scroll down to the bottom of the list, there are also instructions to use the attachments that can look so weird and you don't know how to use (.... pointing at myself )
I also posted links for the 66 class and 15 class...

Ohmygosh! This blog is awesome. I've been having some trouble identifying the differences between the 99 and 66 in crappy ad pics. I knew they were shaped nearly the same with only slight differences, and I knew about the potted/non-potted motors, but with the schematics on this blog showing the slight variation in the heads, now I have a way to id the two based on bad pics alone.

Ok, just found this cool site - it walks you through steps of identifying your machine if you have one (particularly one with no serial number)...
