Congratulations on your new machine. I own the Juki 2000 and the Juki 2010 both purchased this year. I love these machines. I use my Brother for any type of stitch that is not straight, but for piecing the Juki is fantastic and fast as you want to go. I am still a newbie and still on my learning curve but the people on this forum have helped me lots! I believe you will be delighted with your purchase. Happy Quilting!

I love mine, have had it nearly a year and sew on it a lot. It is easy to thread and my only issue is the needle threader when I can't get to thread so I do it by hand. Just make sure you keep it oiled, about every bobbin or so. You will love it! Mine is named Jack.

Congratulations on the new addition , now you need to have a "baby shower" and have everyone bring you gifts of fabric in which to enjoy your new addition!! I love my Juki!!

A Baby Shower. Wouldn't that be fun. If only. I only have one friend who sews and she doesn't sew half as much as I do, which is half as much as most of you, so no one to understand this addiction.

Finally decided to make myself a thread bag to try out Ethel, aka Juki TO2010Q. Went pretty well but have not mastered the needle threaded. Don't know where the name came from but on the way home with her I was thinking about my smaller Janome, which has no name, and in my head I heard myself say when I am sewing on Ethel the Janome can sit..... now where did Ethel come from? I have no idea but my friend said if the Juki was Ethel then the Janome needed to be Lucy so I guess they both have names now.

Than you to lourixe for the link to the other thread on the Juki. Also to Sharon J on that thread for the link to the you tube tutorial on the threader.
