Default BLOCK ( Summer ISSUE )

    https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...vol-2-issue-4-

I just received my copy of the BLOCK Magazine !!!

I waited patiently of course ( I always do ) ....and i wasn't disapointed......I love the magazine. The Doan family does an awesome job with this magazine, they really do. While I enjoy the YouTube tutorials, it's also nice to have written instructions as well. I must admit though I am a visual learner, but often while traveling or going to Drs. appts etc. I love having the BLOCK magazine to take along !!

My favorite tutorials in this magazine ?

    First :
Bordered Periwinkle ....( LOVE this QUILT ! )

    Second:
Pinwheels On Point.....I am making a Patriotic Quilt from a Layer Cake Swap I particiapted in ( thanks Priscilla!)

    Third :
    Under The Stars
I am using my "scraps" just as Jenny suggested when she did the video tutorial for this quilt.

Of course, I really enjoyed the magazine, but then too, I say that about every single issue that comes out. The only complaint about the magazine I have is that the last 3 issues have ome to me slightly damaged....( this issue was "ripped" in the right top corner......las issue the bottom corner pages ( the last two pages ) were slightly torn )

I am not blaming these issues on MS!QC.....I am blaming the tears etc. on the USPS here in the city I live in. The issues with my mail are endless.....too many problems too count. I am always calling the complaint dept.

In closing, I am thrilled with this Summer Issue of Block Magazine.....may MSQC continue to create this awesome magazine for a long time to come.

I just got my copy today and am still looking thru it. Just love the little continuation story in the last pages. The quilts are just beautimous.. Can't wait to get some time to make the Pinwheels on point one. Sounds wonderful if done in Red, white & blue. Hmmm. gotta check my stash (again)

Oh wow, looking forward to another one, Sugar. I can't keep up with when they are due, just like the little surprises in the mail. lol.
    Thanks for the heads up.

Can't wait for my copy. Hopefully will be in today's mail. As you were saying, USPS is having major problems - not just in your area.

Josh share a copy with us Longarm Quilter's last night at work. I think this issue has some great quilt projects. I like under the stars, I have tons of scraps to make one.
