Best Mini Iron - And Where to Buy TV Tray Elastic Cover Pad
I'm seeing a few options for mini/craft irons. Which would you all recommend? Also, does anyone know of somewhere that I can purchase an ironing cover for a TV Tray? I've seen a few tutorials for elastic trimmed covers, but would rather purchase one so I can get started on my quilt sooner.

I doubt very seriously that you will find a pre-made TV tray cover for ironing since that isn't what TV trays were originally intended to be used for.

I would get the Panasonic cordless. I just layed a towel on my tray when I used it.

I was hoping to find a crafter who made and sold the covers. I searched Etsy, but didn't see any there.

Just cut a rectangle about 4" bigger than the tray top, make a 1/2" casing around all 4 edges and put elastic or drawstring through the casing and tighten it. They sell the reflective fabric used in ironing board covers at the big box fabric stores. You could just layer towels over the table then tighten the cover over the towels, no muss, no fuss!

I know what I would not get, don't buy one of those Rowenta travel irons, the handles break easily and they leak.
I bought one of the daily deal irons last week but have not tried it yet. I do not remember the brand, it looks sort of oval.
You could just tape your batting/fabric to the underside of the tray. Duct tape to the rescue.

I have had this travel iron for over 2 years now and it has been a really good iron for me.

Karen and I have cousin/sister irons and I've had mine probably three or four years and absolutely love it.
Agree with covering your own TV tray - too easy.

Found these on Etsy. Think I'll order one to save myself the time from having to DIY. https://www.etsy.com/listing/2313213...home_active_14
