    Default Cute UPS man...

just dropped off my Grace SR-2 frame!!!! Yippeee!!! I'm currently in the process of switching out my bedroom for my sewing room to give more space for the frame. Plus I ordered the Janome 1600 from HSN to go on the frame (4 flex pays and free shipping). Now no more buying anything sewing related.....at least until M's Birthday Bash.

For anyone that has the SR frame about how long should I expect to take to get it all put together? Will I be able to do it myself?

    I'm so excited!!!!

I love my UPS man. He is better than Santa Claus bringing me all my quilting goodies.

I'm thinking she'd better send that UPS man over to Carrie!!!!!

Don't have the same frame - however have a Grace Inspira and someone else put it together (wrongly - but that is another story) and it took a couple hours. I think if you are patient and can follow instructions and have 2 ounces more brains than the people who wrote the instruction manual that you will be way up town and home free. In other words - YES, you are WOMAN and we can hear you roar and you can do it.

Sandy must be Wonder Woman to put that frame together in a few hours. I have the same frame, and I remember it taking quite a few hours!

Hmmm - you didn't, obviously, have the guy come and try setting it up when he knew nothing about a hex nut or a lock washer . . . if you'd had him there it would have taken three or four hours longer than yours took!!

I have the SR-2 Frame and I am mechanically challenged..........my dh put it together. He didn't fuss too much so I guess its not hard and it didn't take him very long.
    Enjoy!!

I have the Start Right frame. It's the same as the SR-2 except it has a 3rd bar for the quilt top to be loaded on. It took DH and me a couple of hours to assemble it.
