Live, Learn, Sew!
My UPS man watered my tomato plant while I was away. What a guy!
Liz, YAY! I got mine finally too!!!!
Very easy to put together, and if everything had been intact In the shipment, it only took me, myself and I about 4 hours to put it together! Muslin will be on the frame TODAY to play and get used to it!
My UPS guy is grizzled and was grumpy, until abut 3 years ago when I screamed like a little girl with my first dulcimer shipment, LOL! He now thru much contact....asked me "OK, curious what are you doing now?". I figure he relented and decided to make friends with the "screaming woman" at this address, ROFL!
We are cups
constantly and quietly being filled.
The trick is.....Knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out!

It seems that the UPS guy always shows up whenever I am baking. Depending on what it is, I'll send him with a couple of cookies, a muffin, or whatever. Now that we have installed a gate, that little bit of bribery has paid off in parcels brought to the door or being covered with a plastic sack in a down pour.
Once, he asked "You're married right?" I laughed, "Yes. 13 years now." To which he answered "Oh well."
I never thought more about it. This summer as he was making a delivery to a neighbor, he flagged down my husband and said "You are a lucky guy. Your wife makes the best peanut butter cookies!"
Thankfully I had shared the running story with Eric. He was able to explain to his parents who overheard the comment, why the UPS guy was getting cookies from his wife!

I got my SR2 last week. I have everything put together except the stitch regulator It took a while because my carriage did not ship with everything else. Because of this they gave me a carriage upgrade. I have to take their word for it because I don't know what the other one looked like. Was missing one screw but got one at the hardware store. Sat my Juki on it and just putting off attaching it until the weekend. I have to work tonight and don't have the energy right now. I really want to use it and practice because God knows I failed doing FMQ on my domestic machine.
Finally got the stitch regulator hooked up and the leader cloths attached. I have two UFOs to quilt so sometime this week I am going to give it a try. One of the UFOs was from a kit I didn't especially like once it was done so if I mess up on it I won't care.
