Re: Listen to music while sewing?
I have a very diverse taste in music, I do like most except for country. But my brother used to like Tammy Wynette & Johnny Cash, so I kind of enjoy them. I love Celtic music; is that Clannad on the "Last of the Mohicans" soundtrack that so many like? Love them and Enya. Classic and modern rock. Once I was trying to FMQ and my housemate had the 50's station playing on the internet radio. Doo Wop and Connie Francis. Drove me crazy because I was having a hard time & was trying to concentrate! Not a big fan. Daft Punk, Skrillex, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd - all good in my book. I used to listen to smooth jazz all the time, and of course the great American songbook with all the wonderful standards. But sometimes I just need peace and quiet while I am sewing. I can listen to Hip Hop, but Rap usually annoys me. I work out at the gym (cardio) to Lady Gaga, Kesha, Katy Perry, Rhianna, Beyounce, etc. My Pandora station on my smartphone. I played Sax in school, sing in a chorus, taught myself keyboards. So I really enjoy music.

I could not quilt without music!! I usually have my TV set to the music station...we have Dish so I listen to channel 952 which is modern country or channel 9956 which is XM's The Highway. I love all music though...and yes Oleg I love the Celtic music from The Last of the Mohicans... my Michael would say to me..."Mom doesn't that music touch your soul?" Quilting and music go together in my book.

I usually have on the oldies from the 50's and 60's. Also love the older country music.
Re: Listen to music while sewing?
I use the shuffle option on Pandora so I get a variety of my music. I don't like it very loud because it distracts me. Othertimes I just enjoy the quiet. I don't have a TV in my sewing room but someday hope to get one.
Re: Listen to music while sewing?
I listen to audio books while sewing, or watch something from Amazon prime.
