    Default Thrift store find

So I just found this steam press at the thrift store for pretty cheap. I'm hoping it will help me press my blocks better. Has anyone tried this type of machine out??

We used a steam press when I took a class on making a tote. It was nice to adhere interfacing to the fabric in one fell swoop. I'm hoping this one will work as well as the Bernina model we used.

I bought MM one for Christmas, but he doesn't let me use it! Still waiting for him to tire of it.....

For some reason, I can't understand how you can get your seams nice and flat and where you want them to be. I'd think it's easier to do with an iron. It would be great for interfacing though, and that is what I want to use it for!

I worked in a dry cleaners for many years. Yep, I'm REAL familiar with one of those, and wish I owned one.

I'll be happy if it will help with pressing binding and purse handles.
