God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
I think sashing would look great with these blocks.
I really like the first layout, and I think sashing would look good too.

First layout works for me. I might consider sashing with the background fabric and then adding cornerstones using all the fabrics in the blocks. Like this. I also have a picture of the Ohio Star double-bordered using all the fabrics in the stars but I can't find the picture. I hate it when that happens.

Would something like this work?

How about a snowball block in-between the 9 patch ones?
