All my LQS are pretty far away. I want to buy a copy of Block so I can decide if I would rather have the print or digital copy. But I haven't seen it for sale anywhere. Local Jo-Ann's does not carry it. Any suggestions?

No, chain stores do not sell BLOCK. Only local quilt shops that have set up an account with M* sell the magazine or templates in their business.

Two of the shops I go to both sell it. One even sells all the templates and papers too! I will tell you, I got the first in paper format and also ordered the digital. I view it on my iPad and it is just as nice as the paper version, and you are saving trees! The only bad part is that it comes out about two weeks later than the printed one.

Pat, the last few have come available at pretty much the same time as the print version.

At the shop hop my sister an I did a few weeks ago, I was amazed to see BLOCK for sale in nearly every shop we went to. It was awesome.
At one store they had made a few of the BLOCK quilts and put them on display. Lots of the customers were admiring them and picking up copies of the magazine. Another store even offered classes for one of the BLOCK quilts.
I was beaming - as if I had anything to do with BLOCK - just because I am such a M* fan.

I cooked today. I made a quilt sandwich
They had some quilts hanging in one of the shops I go to as well.....I felt the same way you did!

I saw BLOCK in a quilt shop today. It looks like a nice magazine, however, had I purchased it online, I would have been disappointed. Several of the patterns were in the Quilting Quickly magazines I have. I will watch for future ones though.![]()
My LQS carries the BLOCK, but we're in Colorado. I buy the mag. for more than the patterns. I love the pics & all the stories about Jenny's family. I learn the most from watching the tuts. I stop the video as needed while I write down the instructions. The visual is what really helps me.
There are several stores in our area that sell Block magazine. (kentuckiana)

I noticed when I was in the shop yesterday that they now have a 'boxed set' available.

And you can also get just the storage box if you've already purchased the magazines.
Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.

Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
