I would like to do a bookcase quilt. Where can I get a pattern
What is a bookcase quilt? Is it a pieced quilt that looks like shelves of books? If so, just type bookcase quilt into your browser search bar and dozens of images and free patterns pop up.
I would love to do a bookcase quilt. I've seen lots of pictures on Pinterest, but I haven't found a pattern. From the pictures, I see one thing on one picture and another thing in another picture. One of the quilts had picture frames with actual pictures printed on the fabric. Love that idea! Since I drink tea, I'd like to put a teacup on one of the shelves, too.
This quilt is a bit further down on my Quilt List, so I haven't seriously looked for a pattern. I'd be anxious for progress reports from you :)
I think about making one of these but think I'll end up using applique to get the things on the shelfs that I want.

I have a few pictures of bookcase quilts I've seen and liked. I would do a combination of the one like Karen posted and the one with pictures... No just books, not tons of pictures in frames. My book case would have a balance. LOL
Love that Moda pattern! Now I want to make it...
The thing with the Moda pattern, is the quilting is what really makes it special.
