New tutorial
The kissing coin quilt
I do not know how to paste in the link on my tab but if you go to msqs youtube channel there it is!
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Cute of course. It is just not possible to live long enough to make everything I like
I have a question. The sew and flip or flip and sew is okay to do and makes for great designs. Has anyone every done it so you just sew on triangles. I just hate all the waste of fabric. I think I am going to try and figure it out.

Well, here's another one that needs to go on my list. Very cute!

I'm not quite clear on why 1/2" needs to be whittled off the charm packs...if you stayed with 5" ones the quilt would be too big?

Your block would not fit next to the coins ... the four rectangles sewn together.
I'm confused as to why you couldn't just make X blocks and then set them... X Coins X Coins... rather than turning the X and inserting the coins block? Is it just me... or is that an either or situation?

I've sewn triangles for years... so relieved to learn a method so I don't have to any more. It's not that much waste. Really.

You take off the half inch to match up with the coins that lose a half inch in the seams. If you don't cut them down nothing lines up right.

The quilt begins and ends with half an X. That is probably why.
