Last week I was creating my order for one of the Fat Quarter Shop daily Flash Sales. As I was figuring out exactly what I wanted to order and how much I wanted to order I noticed some of the fabric was becoming sold out. In a panic I placed my order specifically for the Flash Sale items and with no consideration of any non-Flash Sale items I've had my eyes on.
After I placed my Flash Sale order I emailed Fat Quarter Shop (FQS) to see if I could add an item to my order. I was travelling for business and DH did not let me know that FQS called twice to finalize adding the additional item to my order. When I got home and heard the FQS voice messages I immediately called FQS. Due to time zone differences they were closed. I figured I was out of luck when I received the shipment confirmation email the next morning without the additional item added.
This morning I received a call from FQS apologizing that we were not able to connect. They offered to send the additional item (and any other items I had my eye on) to me with free shipping.
I was literally floored. Simply amazing customer service.
