God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I like your saying at the bottom of your posts. I can't seem to bring myself to tackle the hexies. Are you dreaming of the next one you'll make?

Yes I am. I am almost finished with the one I am doing now. Just have to attach the half flowers and make a single row all around the quilt with brown fabric. After that the top I done and I will go backing fabric hunting.
So what to do for bring along project now ?

I'm still half way in my hexi project. Next EPP could be a diamonds pattern:
Or maybe I make some handsewn appliqué.

Lots of choices there, Annika. I especially love the stars and the diamonds. Yes, you should definitely try appliqué. I'm getting ready to try the turn-under-with-starch applique method. I'm looking forward to it. Anxious to see the final photos of the completed hexie quilt. Last pictures I saw were gorgeous.
