Default WIP - Jenny's Binding Tool Star Quilt

No pics yet, but I started on the Binding Tool Star Quilt pattern today. I'm using fabric from FQs & yardage from my stash. It's easy to get the strips mixed up! I had to rip out a couple times, b/c I had the strips in the wrong order. I've finished the 4 center blocks. They squared up to 16.25". I have a 16.5" square Creative Grids ruler that works great for that. I planned ahead with the pressing, so all the seams nested. Since I want a rectangular baby quilt, I probably will put a wider border just on the top & bottom. I haven't decided yet if it will be piano keys. I might do an arrangement of HSTs.

I was at a sewing machine shop yesterday and this woman was showing how she made a reversible QAYG table runner very similar to this. I just may have to start one and see if I like it. It has been a very popular pattern.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Just a note of caution about the table runner (not the quilt):

I made the table runner yesterday and was a little confused. Jenny says she used a 8.5 inch block in one part of the video and a 8.25 block in another part. It becomes clear when you attach the first angled block to the center, so it's not a big problem.
