San Jose Quilt & Textile Museum ?
I'm in Santa Clara, CA for a business trip and have one afternoon to explore. I stumbled across the website for the San Jose Quilt & Textile museum. Is it worth visiting? The other option I'm considering is the Winchester Mystery House.
Thanks in advance.

Re: San Jose Quilt & Textile Museum ?
I'm not sure what they are showing at the museum right now, so I can't judge the current exhibit. Personally, I was disappointed with my visit to the museum two years ago. I thought it was very small, and not worth the trip.
I didn't go to the Mystery House, but it sure sounds interesting.
You didn't ask, but I'll throw this in: don't bother driving down to the Hearst mansion. THAT was one major rip-off.

The Winchester house is a hoot. The house with so many additions, and stairs that go nowhere. I travel to the area on business and always try to take something in.
When I visited the quilt museum it had a display of Amish quilts. It is small, and will totally depend on the travelling show at the time. I heard a rumor that they have quilts upstairs too. I wonder if they take people up to see them!

Thanks for the input. I ended up going to the Winchester House. All I can say is that Mrs Winchester was one crazy, I mean...interesting woman.
