Can you help me find this pattern?

I thought I saved the magazine but it's disappeared! It appeared in a quilting magazine in the last 2 years or so, at least 6-8 months ago I think. It was a combination of piecing and applique, very girly, hearts and swags if I remember correctly. It was worked in 5 or six 'rounds', doing the middle first and working outward. the example was worked in mostly pinks and greens, had the fabric swatches illustrated on one of the pages. It appeared towards the back of the magazine, at least ten pages of instruction.

I guess I tossed it because I thought, "I can never make this, it's too hard" but now I have more experience and CAN and WANT TO and it's driving me CRAZY that I can't FIND it! I'm sure it's hard to understand that level of obsession (wink wink)

I have lots of magazines. Can you give a little more info? Which ones do you normally purchase? What time of the year if you remember? Any additional help and I will be happy to start looking.

I used to get McCalls, Better Homes & Gardens, Quilter's World, Fons & Porter, I used to get a bunch so probably others, grr. The subscriptions ran out last year, but I probably started getting them in 2013. I had to have seen it in 2014 sometime, probably early/middle of the year. I know for sure it was in the very back of the magazine, LOTS of pages of instruction. It was worked in rounds, with some kind of medallion in the middle (I think), then adding rounds of varying complexity and patterns. I'm pretty sure it had hearts and swags, the example was mostly pink and pastel. I mainly just remember I drooled over it then thought it was too complex. I am kicking myself!

I am continuing to look at back issues on the internet. If I don't find that I'm sure I'll find something else I want to make (ya THINK?! hee hee!) I just have a bee in my bonnet about it today, that's all!

I FOUND IT!!!!! It's called "Hearts a Flutter" in America Loves Scrap Quilts! Wheeeeeee I am so happy! Thanks for thinking of me, Carolyn! Love to all!

I will! I am blessed to have lots and lots of time to work on quilts, and I LOVE to do complicated quilts. I especially love hand applique, so I'll do this by hand rather than machine. I like the 'puffy' quality handwork gives the quilt. At the risk of bragging, I'm also working on the Baltimore Spring BOM, I'm on block two now. I can't sit still while watching TV so I crank those out in the evenings. Who knows, maybe I'll tackle a Dear Jane someday! Y'all be well and God bless - Pam
