A little bit of Missouri Star out here in PA
The Honey Bee Quilt Shop (from Newville, PA) came to our Guild meeting tonight to do a trunk show. They showed a lot of quilts that were made from the Block book (first time I saw one in person). For those that haven't seen them in person, it is alot nicer than a magazine and she was selling them for $5.99. I didn't get any but was tempted. I do know I can go somewhere somewhat local to get them though. She also had lots of precuts but they were regular price and I passed on those too. There were also some demonstrations on how Jenny did some of the blocks. I really liked the disappearing hourglass and might try that someday. She said they went out to Missouri Star for a retreat for business owners back in the fall and were encouraged and given lots of advice from the company. It was a fun evening.

There is a shop up in Kent WA that carries them as well. They also carry all the templates and papers! I was surprised to see that last week, because they were not there a couple months ago wen I last visited.

Our local sewing store (sells machines, notions, yardage, etc.) carries M* BLOCK magazines as well as many of their templates. They also have been holding classes on some of Jenny's patterns. They recently did the Lattice Quilt. The owners sell Baby Lock machines & have met Jenny at some of the Baby Lock conventions.
