60% off coupons?!?!? I just got home a few hours ago and never saw any 60% ones... just 50% ones. Ah well, still got a good deal. Used 8 - 50% off coupons to get 1-yard cuts of marine vinyl I need for keyfobs for my Etsy store.
I bought a dozen of the FQ's while I was there, but my store was pretty picked over already (or just low stock in general). I got them to make Bionic Bags for Mother's Day, so hopefully they'll work OK.
I went to JoAnn's yesterday and bought 24 fat quarters. Yes, they are probably a little thinner that what they used to carry. But I am making a Bible Study quilt and each block requires a dark, a medium and a light, so I needed a variety of colors. I have already exhausted most of my stash and we're only on week 15 (73 blocks total). Blocks finish out at only 6-1/2", and some are a real challenge.
The clerk told me this is a good week to stock up as the fat quarters will go up to $2.49 each after the sale!
About the Joann's fatquarters I have bought. Some nice quality fabric and some really thin. None of them are 22 x 18 --ALL smaller.
I succumbed to the FQ sale - I am sensing a triangle quilt in my future...

Very pretty ! I did not look this weekend but don't ever remember seeing such pretty fat quarter choices at my local Joanns. They have just remodeled so maybe I should check them out if there are any left.Quote:
